Job Summary
Bill Howe is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals starting their careers in the HVAC industry. As an entry-level technician, you will learn from experienced technicians in performing maintenance of HVAC systems while gaining hands-on experience and developing your technical skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance of HVAC systems, including air conditioners and heaters,.
- Perform basic tasks such as cleaning, replacing filters, and checking system components.
- Learn from experienced technicians on how to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues.
- Learn to use HVAC tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and services performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns.
- Support the team with additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, rooftops, and varying environmental conditions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school coursework in HVAC is a plus.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Interest in developing a career in the HVAC industry.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
