Life is short - work someplace awesome! Marsh Automotive Group is looking for an Automotive Service Technician for their Byrider store in Traverse City. The best candidates for this position would have experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles and ensuring the continuous flow of work.
Job responsibilities to include:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues for both new inventory and existing customers
- Utilize specialized tools to diagnose problems in a prompt manner
- Ensure the quality of reconditioned vehicles and customer repairs
- Collaborate with team members to address vehicle issues
- Road test vehicles to identify issues and ensure the quality of repair
- Keep accurate records of all repairs, services, and parts used
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable & professional
- Previous automotive repair experience preferred
- Ability to maintain relationships with technicians and customers
- Utilize computer systems to manage documentation, work orders, etc.
- Valid driver's license
- ASE or State certifications required
- Set of tools required (specialty tools provided)
