Entry Level Parts Counterperson/Entry Level - We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Counterperson/Stock Clerk to join our team. As a Parts Counterperson/Stock Clerk, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers and technicians by assisting them in finding the right parts and accessories for their needs. Your knowledge of automotive parts and your ability to communicate effectively will contribute to our success. Available to start immediately! No prior experience is necessary as we will provide on-the-job training.
Responsibilities will Include:
- Greet and assist customers at the parts counter in a friendly and professional manner
- Identify and locate the correct parts or products based on customer needs and specifications
- Provide accurate and timely information about pricing, availability, and alternative options
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Collaborate with the sales team, technicians, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks when necessary
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a parts counter role or a related field is preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and providing information
- Proficiency with CDK a preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires
- Excellent customer service skills a must
