Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our distribution center, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. This position involves various tasks including heavy lifting, order picking, and materials handling, all while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of products as required.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Operate forklifts and clamp trucks safely to move materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist warehouse supervisors in daily operations and report any issues or discrepancies.
- Participate in inventory control processes, including stock counts and organization of goods.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) consistently throughout the shift.
- Experience with order picking processes in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to workplace safety practices.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment is preferred.
- Excellent materials handling skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with supervisors and colleagues.
