About the Role
Our Communications Division is actively seeking an experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee and execute telecom infrastructure projects from initiation to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the successful delivery of telecommunications projects including structured cabling, fiber optic cabling, life safety systems, and other special systems. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project management for telecommunications infrastructure installations and upgrades.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Manage communication between clients, stakeholders, vendors, and field teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions proactively.
- Conduct site visits, quality control checks, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management.
- Manage procurement and coordination of materials, equipment, and workforce.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2 years of project management experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure, or related fields.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications (Preferred): PMP, RCDD, RTPM or other relevant certifications.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of fiber optics, structured cabling, VoIP, wireless networks, life safety systems, and other special systems.
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, budgeting, and communication skills.
- Tools: Proficiency in estimation takeoff software.
- Travel: Ability to travel to project sites as required.
