Bill's Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping Inc. is a leading landscaping and lawn maintenance service provider in the Frankfort area. We seek a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Landscape Designer/Job Estimator. This is a full-time position with commission-based compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their landscaping needs and design preferences.
- Develop detailed landscape designs and proposals, including site, planting, and hardscape plans.
- Use estimating software to prepare accurate job estimates for clients.
- Oversee the implementation of landscape designs, working closely with the installation crew to ensure that the design is executed according to the client's specifications.
- Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of their projects and address any concerns or issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate project records, including budgets, timelines, and change orders.
- Participate in marketing and business development activities, such as attending industry events and networking with potential clients.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in landscape design and job estimating.
- Proficient in design software.
- Knowledge of plant materials, hardscape materials, and construction techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
