Responsibilities
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and performance.
- Perform automotive repairs, including engine diagnostics, brake services, and electrical system repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
- Assist in auto body repair and restoration projects as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive service.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the automotive industry.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- ASE certifications and manufacturer training a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and systems is essential.
- A background in auto repair schools a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ford certifications required.
