Auto Detailer

Bill Walsh Automotive Group is seeking a meticulous and passionate Car Detailer to join our growing team in Ottawa and Streator Il. If you have a keen eye for detail and take pride in making vehicles look their absolute best, we want to hear from you!

Job Summary:

As a Car Detailer at Bill Walsh Automotive Group, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interior and exterior cleaning and detailing services for our clients' vehicles. You will use a variety of specialized tools and products to ensure every vehicle meets our exceptional standards of cleanliness and appearance.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly wash, wax, and buff vehicle exteriors to a high-gloss finish.
• Clean and dress tires and wheels.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and extract carpets and upholstery.
• Clean and condition leather and vinyl surfaces.
• Clean and polish interior and exterior windows and mirrors.
• Dust and polish dashboards, consoles, and door panels.
• Apply protective coatings and dressings to exterior and interior surfaces.
• Inspect vehicles for any imperfections and ensure they are addressed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in car detailing or a related field is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required.
• Knowledge of various cleaning products and techniques is beneficial.

Skills:

• Proficient in washing, waxing, and polishing vehicles.
• Experience with interior cleaning techniques, including vacuuming, shampooing, and detailing various surfaces.
• Ability to use and maintain detailing tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of different cleaning agents and their appropriate applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
