Bill Walsh Automotive Group is currently looking for an Assistant Service Manager (ASM) to join our team of
skilled professionals! We are one of the highest volume Service Departments in the area! We are looking for a high
character applicant who has the desire and commitment necessary to join our team. 5 years of Automotive
Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager (ASM), Service Writer experience is REQUIRED! PREVIOUS
EXPERIENCE WITH GENERAL MOTORS IS ALSO REQUIRED! Familiarity with Xtime and Union Shops are
also a PLUS. We are offering a generous compensation plan ($80K - $90k) and a comprehensive benefits
package.

Responsibilities:
∙Serve as a consultant for our Service manager, service advisors, technicians, and clients.
∙Under the direction of the Service Manager, assists in various aspects of customer care, work order and
register assistance, facility maintenance, and merchandising activities
∙Stay up to date with customer service practices, product operational characteristics, and warranty policies
∙Become a persistent problem solver by assisting clients in determining their vehicle's needs and helping to
set repair priorities
∙Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
∙Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the
dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
∙In the absence of any management, the Assistant Service Manager will act as the primary supervisor for the
store staff, observing and coordinating operational activities.
∙Assist in monitoring the shop productivity, workflow, and procedures with an emphasis on efficiency,
thoroughness, and safety.
∙Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
∙Maintain Customer CSI scores at or above company standards.
∙Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts and tools as necessary.
∙Oversee administration of warranty claims as well as training and supervising of the service department.
∙Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards.
∙Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
∙Maintain a good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relations.
∙Collaborate with upper management to make service department hiring and discipline decisions.
PREVIOUS AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR / ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!
