Biller Reinhart Engineering Group, Inc. (BillerReinhart) is currently searching for an entry-level Project Engineer to join our firm's dynamic team.
BillerReinhart is a structural engineering services company of 22 years and comprised of 25 employees. With offices in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Ft. Lauderdale area, and Sarasota, we provide our services throughout the state of Florida and beyond. Our services are focused on the design and inspection of new buildings and environmental structures, and the restoration and repair of existing structures. We also provide general/building envelope consulting for commercial real estate clients and the hospitality industry.
Title: Project Engineer Entry Level
Location: St. Petersburg, Florida
Duties:
- Client correspondence
- Building condition assessments (site visits required)
- Project specifications preparation
- Construction observation and documentation (site visits, including construction sites)
- Engineering calculations for building analysis and design
- Composing the following documents: condition survey, observation, field, and summary reports
- Coordination with engineering technicians for drawing preparation
- Travel within and out of state (periodically) required.
Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate completion of all duties above.
- Punctual and attentive participation in project-related meetings.
- Professional representation of Company while on site visits and in external project meetings, including appropriate attire and physical appearance.
- Active and attentive collaboration with team members on projects.
Qualifications:
Candidates for this position must satisfy the following educational/work experience requirements:
- 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus from an ABET accredited university.
- E.I. designation is preferred but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must satisfy a background check.
- Prior work experience in the United States.
