The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial analysis and reporting to support continuous improvement efforts, financial planning and forecasting and internal controls to ensure, stewardship and compliance to policy. The position also partners with and advises Sales, Marketing, and Finance to improve our processes and profitability.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial analysis and reporting to support continuous improvement efforts, financial planning and forecasting and internal controls to ensure, stewardship and compliance to policy. The position also partners with and advises Sales, Marketing, and Finance to improve our processes and profitability.
Qualifications
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist with management reporting and presentations – monthly, quarterly, and year end
- Assist in development of business plan and annual budgeting process
- Assist in profitability analysis to improve company performance
- Provide rebate calculations to Regional Sales Directors
- Provide financial support to our Sales team
- Provide financial support to business functions on monthly department spending
- Lead the monthly cost center spending review process
- Support Billerud’s month end close activities and annual financial and process audits
- Configure and validate the internal reporting system
- Assist in customer renewal process in tandem with Sales and Marketing
- Assist on any ad-hoc request as require by the team
Experience
- 2 years finance experience
- BS in related field. BS in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Ability to interpret financial data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills with emphasis in Excel and SAP. All other Microsoft Office products a plus
- Self-starter. Quick learner. Motivated to improve self and surroundings. Team player.
