Key Accountabilities
- Lead, coach and mentor a team of professionals to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align team efforts with IT requirements.
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to team members based on their strengths and situation.
- Develop and drive change towards best practice for both team activities and stakeholders.
- Take commercially responsibility for one or more defined IT sub-categories.
- Conduct analysis of spend, market, supplier, and risk.
- Define goals, plan, prioritize, and lead category work.
- Establish and use IT sourcing frameworks, IT procurement processes and delivery models that balance cost, risk and agility.
- Prepare and conduct negotiations and establish framework agreements.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities across the Billerud group and present a concise plan to stakeholders.
- Handle contract renewals and administration efficiently.
- Monitor key contract terms, deliverables and performance for key contracts and selected suppliers.
- Establish policies and processes for vendor interaction.
- Lead supplier governance forums on strategic and tactical levels.
- Manage and resolve complex supplier related complaints and escalations.
Experience
Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or Economics Master level degree in IT, Engineering or Economics – preferred.
- 5 years of experience with IT procurement or related commercial aspects of IT
- A demonstrated ability to lead cross functional activities
- Extensive experience in negotiation
- Good knowledge of contract law and specifically IT contracts Proficiency in English, both spoken and written

- Proven leadership skills in a (remote) team environment.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) with business executives, senior business leaders, external customers, suppliers, IT leadership, and technical professionals; ability. to articulate both business and technology requirements and opportunities.
- Ability to drive results across multiple, concurrent projects.
- Well-developed planning and prioritization skills.
- Effectively interact and communicate with all levels of Billerud and supplier organizations.
