Role Overview:

BillGO is seeking a talented and motivated AI/ML Intern with a strong foundation in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AI/ML concepts and practical knowledge of software development, including Java programming and AWS cloud services.

As an AI/ML Intern, you’ll contribute to projects that leverage AI and LLMs to enhance BillGO’s innovative payment solutions. You’ll work closely with our engineering and data science teams to design, implement, and optimize intelligent systems and processes. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in the rapidly evolving field of AI/ML while contributing to impactful projects at BillGO.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing AI/ML models and algorithms to solve real-world problems in the fintech space.
• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.
• Develop data preprocessing pipelines, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and transformation.
• Research and experiment with large language models (LLMs) to enhance BillGO’s product offerings.
• Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings and results effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into production systems.
• Develop, test, and maintain codebases, primarily in Java.
• Assist in preparing documentation for models, experiments, and data workflows
• Utilize AWS cloud services for deploying and scaling AI/ML solutions.
• Analyze and optimize model performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in AI, ML, and software development.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field with an Artificial Intelligence focus
• Strong academic knowledge of AI/ML concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and natural language processing (NLP).
• Experience working with large language models (e.g., GPT, BERT, etc.) through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Proficiency in software development with a focus on Java and Python.
• Familiarity with SQL and working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, or SageMaker.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive drive and curiosity to interact with the business and internal stakeholders to understand current state and gaps where AI/ML data-driven solutions can help to solve.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn).
• Experience with APIs and integrating AI models into applications.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksight)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
