What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culture of Care Leadership Class Teacher position at Billings Public Schools?
- Minimum education requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Education
- High School Endorsement or K-12 Certification
- Knowledge/understanding of culturally appropriate intervention strategies
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, staff and outside agencies
- Valid driver’s license
- Complete professional development and training in Hope Squad, Rachel’s Challenge Digital Curriculum, Restorative Practices
- Teach Middle School Leadership Class that will be offered for high school credit
- Work collaboratively with the Culture of Care Project Director and other Culture of Care Teacher
- Support student clubs utilizing either the FOR Club or Hope Squad framework
- Knowledge of Trauma Informed Practices

The Leadership Class Teacher for the Culture of Care program will teach a Leadership Class at middle school, lead FOR club activities at middle school, support the Culture of Care project goals. Collaborate with the Culture of Care Project Coordinator, middle school building leadership, and community partners. Requires a current Montana Educator License with a High School endorsement or K-12 Certification
