INSTRUCTIONAL PARAPROFESSIONALS (IPP) (Special Education)
Various; Teletherapist Support
- 813 FTE; 6.5 hours a day; Monday - Friday; 9-Months a year
TRS Retirement; Vacation/Sick Leave
- Performs instructional activities as planned, assigned and organized by professional staff for individual and/or small groups of students
- Works with the teacher with students who need to learn positive behaviors in order to be successful in the classroom setting
- Helps in the selection, preparation and organization of materials appropriate to students' needs in accordance with designated lessons
- Collects data and reports student progress to the teacher
- Must have previous experience working with children
- Requires a High School graduate or equivalent
- Requires 60 semester/90 quarter college credits or successful completion of the WorkKeys Test to meet requirement of ESSA. (To take the WorkKeys Test at the Lincoln Center, call 281-5007 or email lynchla@billingsschools.org. The cost is $60.00)
