We are looking for a Research Associate Intern (Computational Biology ) to join the fast growing oncology team. This person will conduct for an independent computational biology research project using next-generation DNA sequencing data for the Northstar oncology products. The research project involves developing novel algorithms in the context of oncology liquid biopsy, building software, and potentially benefiting thousands of patients. The Research Associate intern is a full-time onsite position in our Menlo Park office for 10 weeks.

Responsibilities :
- Design and conduct an independent computational biology research project end-to-end
- Prototype novel algorithms in the context of oncology liquid biopsy using next-generational DNA sequencing data
- Use real-world oncology NGS data to evaluate algorithm performance
- Collaborate with R&D scientists to generate new scientific insights
- Communicate research findings to cross-functional teams
