Horticulture Technician Team Member

Responsibilities:

· Perform a wide range of horticultural tasks, including planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and pest control.

· Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues related to plant health, disease, or environmental conditions.

· Maintain accurate records of plant inventory, maintenance activities, and pest management.

· Collaborate with the horticultural team to design and implement innovative landscaping projects.

· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and offering quick responses to plant client concerns.

· Always maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.

Qualifications:

· A genuine passion for plants and a basic understanding of horticultural practices.

· Previous experience in horticulture or a related field is preferred, but not required.

· Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of plant care.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

· Knowledge of plant species, landscaping techniques, and integrated pest management is advantageous - but not necessary!

· Physical stamina to work indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions and lift 30 pounds.

· Valid driver's license with clean driving record (company provides vehicle and all equipment).

· High school diploma or equivalent.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday-Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PM, with some nights and weekends. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must work a minimum of 30 hours each week to maintain full-time status.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
