Job Summary
Billy the Kid Gift Shop on the Mesilla plaza is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Snack Bar Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of snacks and beverages. You will ensure that all food handling and safety standards are met, creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve snacks and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the snack bar area, including kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow during busy periods.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or a quick service fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices is essential.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Must be able to lift and/or move 25lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace is required.
- Have or able to procure NM food handlers card.
