Essential Elements:

The Digital Marketing Specialist will support marketing and communications efforts as a corporate Biltmore Farms, LLC Marketing, Branding, and Communications team member. Under general supervision, this role will be involved with digital ad campaign design, delivery, and measurement, which contributes to our overall digital marketing execution. This position requires knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals, analytics, project coordination, general business practices and procedures, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This role will be responsible for digital campaign execution, tracking, project coordination, and analytics for social media accounts, websites, digital ads, and email marketing across all our business segments, including commercial, hospitality, and planned communities.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will work within a cross-functional team to help drive revenue, generate brand awareness, maintain brand continuity, and measure ROI. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work with the marketing team to ensure that assigned projects are completed in a timely manner, within budget, and meet brand guidelines and standards. This role requires being highly organized and adaptable to manage competing priorities effectively.

Please note that this position is based in-office with occasional remote opportunities.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the execution of email marketing functions including Salesforce management, campaign development, email design, UX flow, automation, and KPI data feeds.
  • Works alongside team members and external partners to build and optimize paid search, display, and Meta ad campaigns for all business units.
  • Partners with digital creative agencies to develop high performing landing pages.
  • Executes, monitors, and tracks campaigns across all digital platforms, including social media channels, hotel digital advertising platforms, and Google Analytics.
  • Audits and updates website content and structure as needed to maintain a quality U/X and drive keyword rankings. This includes hospitality brand-specific visual asset management.
  • Interfaces with hotel booking platform partners to continuously improve search rankings and evaluate promotion opportunities.
  • Updates website content and leads any necessary adjustments to website design/structure.
  • Analyzes campaign results to optimize marketing spend and performance.
  • Measures and reports the performance of all digital marketing efforts against KPIs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field; AND,
  • Minimum of four (4) years of professional digital marketing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least three years of digital marketing campaign experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Koddi, Salesforce, and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Knowledge of GA4, digital marketing trends and management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and Mailchimp.
  • Must be comfortable working both independently and as a team.
  • Ability to complete projects while adhering to budgets and deadlines.
  • Ability to consistently provide exceptional customer service.
  • Possess professional communication skills for interacting with a variety of agencies, colleagues, leadership team, partners, and clients.
  • Ability to synthesize data and translate it into actionable information.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and projects with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to adjust marketing assets as needed by understanding the intended messaging and audiences.
  • Ability to adjust to ever-changing priorities.
