Title: HR Manager
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Roswell, NM
Purpose:
As the HR Manager for Biltwise Structures of NM, a leader in the modular home industry, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations. You will manage recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and employee development programs.
Essential Functions:
- Recruitment & Staffing:
- Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates for various roles.
- Collaborate with department managers to forecast workforce needs and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to resolve issues and foster a positive work culture.
- Manage conflict resolution and address employee grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives, ensuring high levels of job satisfaction and retention.
- Implement performance management systems to monitor, evaluate, and improve employee performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
- Design and promote employee training and development programs to enhance skills and career growth.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and health benefits.
- Ensure competitive salary structures that align with industry standards.
- Advise management on compensation strategies and employee benefits trends.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee workplace safety programs in collaboration with the safety team, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees
- Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and vision.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve overall HR operations and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certification preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a background in manufacturing, construction, or modular housing industries.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HR software and databases.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Results-driven and proactive with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Strong ethical standards, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters effectively.
