Job Title: Revit Technician - BIM Coordinator
Job Overview:
The BIM Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology throughout the design, construction, and handover phases of a construction project. They work closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, to ensure the successful integration of BIM into the project workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. BIM Coordination: Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement BIM execution plans. Facilitate BIM coordination meetings to address clashes, conflicts, and discrepancies within the BIM model.
2. BIM Modeling: Create, maintain, and manage 3D BIM models, including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical elements. Ensure the models adhere to industry standards and best practices.
3. Quality Control: Review BIM models and data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. Identify and resolve any model-related issues to improve overall project quality.
4. Clash Detection: Utilize clash detection software to identify clashes and interferences within the BIM model. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve clashes efficiently.
5. BIM Standards: Establish and enforce BIM standards and protocols to ensure consistency across all disciplines involved in the project. Maintain and update BIM libraries and templates as needed.
6. Information Management: Organize and manage project-related data within the BIM environment, including documentation, specifications, and project information.
7. Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on BIM-related tools and processes. Ensure the team's proficiency in using BIM software and methodologies.
8. Integration: Collaborate with various software platforms and BIM tools to streamline data exchange and interoperability between different disciplines.
9. Project Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among the project team by leveraging BIM technologies.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in using BIM software (e.g., Revit, ArchiCAD, Navisworks) and other relevant BIM tools.

Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
