CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT
I. Objective of the Position:
Field all communications from our customers and work with the appropriate departments within Bimbo QSR Logistics to provide the necessary solutions. Assist the Replenishment team in the day-to-day execution of the replenishment distribution process of Direct Store Deliveries (DSD).
ll. Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist in all customer related support functions such as, but not limited to, fielding calls/emails, providing solutions, handling concerns, and updating customer contact information.
· Provide assistance in monitoring and servicing company assets.
· Review, monitor, and ensure proper inventory levels of individual stores and warehouse customers.
· Prepare, share, and process shipment paperwork from beginning to end.
· Plan, process, and track the DSD process for all assigned stores and DSD runs.
· Coordinate with the Shipping Department and Production to optimize requirement fulfilment.
· Assist the Distribution Manager in the processing of DSD and Warehouse runs supporting the reconciliation process and other duties as assigned.
III. Minimum Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience equivalent to: HS Diploma Required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Preferred; and/or experience in the/similar to the above Duties and Responsibilities. Ability to operate in a dynamic environment in the absence of direct supervision.
Experience:
· Five or more years of progressive experience in system-based orders processing.
· Proven experience in Logistics and Distribution operations.
Knowledge/Qualifications and Skills:
· Must have excellent customer service skills/verbal and written communication skills. Good English communication skills (both written and oral).
· Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and supporting organizations verbally and in writing.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Demonstrate a willingness to learn improved skills.
· Must possess the highest possible standard of ethics and conduct.
· Demonstrate strong attention to detail, good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, able to meet deadlines.
· Take initiative and be self-motivated, always looking for opportunities to improve.
IV. Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, push and pull objects up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to work onsite and/or remotely as needed.
- Must be able to work in varying and dynamic schedules to meet operational demand and can meet flexible schedules from time to time.
- The anticipated work hours for this position are from 0800 – 1630 Monday through Friday.
- The position will have the potential for varying hours and schedule to cover the demands of the Department during Vacations and Holidays.
