Job Summary:
The Field Operations Manager will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team of Dumpster Delivery Experts, ensuring that all field activities are conducted efficiently and safely, and taking control of the day to day task of operating inside the business. This role requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate logistics, drive team engagement, and uphold the high service standards that define Bin There Dump That.
Key Responsibilities Operational Management
- Ensure all vehicles and equipment are maintained, inspected, and compliant with safety regulations.
- You will be the lead driver of this team. So lead by example everyday in the truck.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve service quality.
- Insure the shop is stocked and organized.
- Mechanical knowledge is required, as basic inspection and service of company vehicles will be expected.
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of Dumpster Delivery Experts to perform at their best. Lead by example.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture aligned with company values.
Reporting and Analysis
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (e.g.,)
- Prepare and present regular operational reports to leadership.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes effectively.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in field operations, logistics, or waste management.
- Previous leadership experience managing a team.
- General maintenance on trucks from oil changes to changing tires.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in routing software and basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Documents, Email)
- Attention to detail and safety.
License: Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Must pass a DOT Physical as well.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors and occasionally assist with deliveries or pickups if needed.
- Comfortable lifting and moving items up to [specific weight, e.g., 50 lbs].
