Description
Position Summary:
You must be able to set up welding machines and equipment (both MIG and TIG); read and interpret blueprints to understand the product's specifications; weld, cut, grind, and finish the product; and inspect your work for accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
- Install and repair various equipment and components
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
- May operate other machinery; such as forklift
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation For this position is $19-21 DOE
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2-3 years of previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to read shop drawings and follow verbal instructions.
- At least one year of experience welding with aluminum
