Position Overview: The Traveling Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day aspects of the project. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to keep records of events. The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to achieving project goals with efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage construction projects, ensuring successful delivery from breaking ground through to completion
· Oversee and coordinate the work of subcontractors and vendors onsite
· Ensure all aspects of the project are executed in compliance with specifications, regulations, and safety standards
· Provide proactive problem-solving and adapt to project needs as they arise
· Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment
· Maintain records of weather events, delays, and any other pertinent information
Qualifications:
· At least 10 years of commercial construction experience
· Expertise in project planning and managing subcontractors and vendors.
· Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
· Highly analytical with a focus on strategic, detail-oriented decision-making.
· Ability to handle complex problem-solving and adapt to changing project requirements.
· Exceptional communication skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
· Must be willing to travel
