Job Summary:
Bingham Healthcare's medical group is a dynamic multi-disciplinary specialty group in Eastern Idaho. We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our expanding mental health service line. This role combines outpatient psychotherapy with opportunities to provide psychological testing and evaluations supporting neurology, pain medicine, and other medical specialties. Key Responsibilities:
- Outpatient Therapy and Mental Health Services:
- Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy services using evidence-based practices.
- Manage a caseload of patients with diverse mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic illness management.
- Psychological Testing and Evaluation:
- Conduct assessments and testing to support diagnostic and treatment planning in collaboration with neurology, pain medicine, and other specialties.
- Provide expert insights to guide medical teams in the care of patients with complex conditions.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists in neurology, pain medicine, and primary care to deliver integrated patient care.
- Provide consultation and education to other healthcare providers to support behavioral health initiatives across specialties.
- Program Development and Community Engagement:
- Assist with the development of innovative mental health programs within the clinic and broader community.
- Participate in outreach activities that promote mental health awareness and education in Eastern Idaho.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
- Licensure:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in Idaho.
- Experience:
- Clinical experience in outpatient psychotherapy and psychological testing preferred.
- Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary medical teams is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
- Expertise in diagnostic evaluations and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and familiarity with EHR platforms.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus but not required.
