Job Title: Spanish Translator
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Sr HR Manager and Safety Manager
Job Summary: The Spanish Translator will be responsible for translating written and verbal communications across all departments, ensuring clarity and consistency in company messaging. This role will support HR, Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Maintenance by providing translation services for internal documents, employee communications, and training materials. The translator will also assist in the IQMS process, helping Spanish-speaking employees understand and comply with quality and operational procedures. Additionally, they will support the hiring process by translating interviews to ensure clear communication between hiring managers and Spanish-speaking candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate company documents, training materials, safety guidelines, and employee communications between English and Spanish.
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, training sessions, and floor discussions.
- Assist HR and hiring managers by translating interviews with Spanish-speaking candidates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
- 2 to 4 years of experience in professional translation and interpretation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and translation software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
