We are seeking a talented and motivated Warehouse Specialist to join our small yet dynamic team in a rapidly growing e-commerce company. As the Warehouse worker you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our deliveries and operations, supporting our e-commerce platform, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our business processes.
The ideal warehouse worker will perform a variety of tasks to ensure a warehouse runs efficiently and to increase customer satisfaction:
- Attendance is essential
- Receiving and processing stock: Unload and receive deliveries, check for damaged or missing items, and store goods
- Picking and filling orders: Pull and process orders accurately, and keep records of incoming and outgoing orders
- Packing and shipping orders: Pack items, label boxes, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup
- Managing inventory: Take inventory of materials, count, weigh, and open materials, and maintain quality standards
- Moving stock: Move stock around by hand, using lifting gear, or a forklift truck
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized: Dispose of leftover packing materials, and keep the working area clean and organized
- Following safety protocols: Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
- Communicating and cooperating: Report any discrepancies to supervisors, and communicate and cooperate with coworkers
