Boba Tea Barista and Dessert

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will love being a barista and be committed to providing exceptional customer service. As our staff, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality boba tea beverages, desserts and snacks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring every customer has a delightful experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of boba tea drinks, dessert, and other snacks according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the POS system for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of customers.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash transactions responsibly.
• A willingness to learn about making dessert and beverage preparation methods is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
