Our team has an immediate need for a Pipeline Project Engineer. In this role, you will provide design management and supervision of pipeline services staff and be responsible for project scoping, engineering design, specifications development, signing and sealing plans, permitting, client management, coordination with clients’ surveying and construction crews, technical reports and project invoicing.

Our team has an immediate need for a Pipeline Project Engineer. In this role, you will provide design management and supervision of pipeline services staff and be responsible for project scoping, engineering design, specifications development, signing and sealing plans, permitting, client management, coordination with clients’ surveying and construction crews, technical reports and project invoicing.
What You Will Do
- Develops designs for natural gas pipeline projects, metering and regulating stations, tapping facilities, gas facility support structures, and other related work.
- Provides technical support, engineering design, and specifications development.
- Oversees the design and development of gas pipeline construction plan and profile drawings, station site plan drawings, traffic control plans, and details according to standards/specifications.
- Performs specialized design assignments of a complex nature.
- Oversees pipeline services staff ensuring successful delivery of high-quality products and services to customers on time and on budget.
- Performs project reviews to monitor quality of service to the client. Provides project updates and decision items.
- Coordinates project permit procurement with various cities, counties, TxDOT, and other utility regulators.
- Supports the Project Manager with project development, quality control and project scheduling.
- Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring
- An undergraduate or master’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years of related experience.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of natural gas industry design codes and standards.
- Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Experience leading and developing project designers and administrative personnel.
- Excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and considers safety the utmost priority.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
