Our Water/Wastewater team has a need for a Project Manager to join their team. Works under the direct supervision of W/WW Sr. Project Manager subject matter expert to execute a variety of water and wastewater projects including pump stations, sewage treatment plants, water treatment plants, and reclaimed water applications. This position will offer the opportunity to develop leadership and execution skills in plan production, report preparation, design, plans and specifications, construction observation, construction administration, leadership, and personal/career development.

What You Will Do
- Leads and performs civil engineering design calculations; develops construction plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software; and prepares construction specifications, feasibility studies, and other technical reports for infrastructure projects.
- Lead Project Engineers, EITs, and CADD Technicians in project-specific work and establish internal deadlines with staff and enable them to accomplish their goals and tasks.
- Provide design support to the DCCM family of companies in water and wastewater projects.
- Assist in developing proposals and supporting pursuits for Infrastructure RFQs, especially in water and wastewater projects, and collaborate with the DCCM family of companies.
- Provide front-line quality control of the Company’s services for scope, schedule, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Utilize the department's internal QAQC process to perform project reviews and monitor the quality of design to the client.
- Provide project updates and decision items. Assist the client with investigating issues that arise on projects, gathering and analyzing data to develop recommendations.
- Act as a technical resource for the Company and Client.
- Represent the company at various meetings and attend training courses and events as required.
- Other infrastructure projects designed in this department include large and small-diameter transmission waterlines, sanitary sewers, stormwater management modeling and design, storm sewer design, roadway design and modeling, and ditch and channel design.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software is preferred.
- Works within a team to produce engineering calculations, documentation, and plan sheet production to achieve our client’s goals and objectives while meeting schedules and budget requirements.
- Lead team in the production of quantity take offs (QTO), cost estimates, and construction management support for projects in construction phase.
- Represent the Company in client meetings.
- Represent the Company in professional, civic, and political organizations and activities.
- Assist in business development efforts within the Houston area on behalf of the Company.
- Develop and deepen relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Manage budget and hours to develop designs and plans that achieve our client’s goals and objectives while meeting schedule commitments and budget requirements.
- Establish clear communication with public agencies during the technical review process.
- Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring
- An undergraduate degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas.
- Ten (10) years of related experience in water and wastewater projects in planning and process design, stormwater and wastewater lift station design, and reclaimed water applications; local experience preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Project management skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize projects.
- Staff management experience.
- Experience leading and developing project engineer task leaders, designers, and project administrative personnel.
- Thorough knowledge of local, state, and industry design standards, codes, and procedures, such as the City of Houston Infrastructure Design Manual and the TCEQ Design Manuals for water and wastewater systems.
