Proposals will be from various public sources, including federal pursuits and with clients such as TxDOT, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, Texas General Land Office, Harris County Flood Control District, and several municipalities throughout Texas. The Proposal Specialist will work collaboratively with engineers and surveyors across the company.

What You Will Do
- Meets proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring data; coordinating requirements with contributors; communicating proposal status information at review meetings; desktop publishing; and producing proposals.
- Creates graphics, charts, resumes, and project descriptions as needed.
- Ensures quality and compliance of final proposal documents by reviewing materials for spelling, grammar, style, and quality.
- Coordinates the maintenance of various marketing databases (clients/contacts, projects, and resumes).
- Develops designs for postcards, e-blasts, proposal covers, tradeshow needs, presentations, etc.
- Acts as a brand ambassador for all divisions to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user experience.
- Oversee TxDOT precertification application process and input updated precertifications in the company database.
- Assists with the planning and coordination of various marketing/corporate events.
- Performs other marketing-related tasks as directed by the Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of prior A/E/C industry experience with RFQs/SOQs
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Experience with federal pursuits is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and visual form
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently as well as in team environments, often under tight deadlines
- Excellent proofreading, formatting, and editing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with management, staff, and external contacts
- Ability to travel to conferences and interview preparations across Texas as needed
