What is a BinSentry Deployment Manager expected to do?The Deployment Lead is responsible for leading the installation process for the ProSense HD product line. This position engages with Sales and Customers when contracts are established, to assess and document device installation requirements, ensuring a flawless installation and positive customer experience. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning & Coordination
- Serve as POC for HD installations, coordinating with Sales, CS and customers to establish HD installation schedules and timing for new installations and/or expansions
- Develop detailed installation plans for customers, ensuring site teams have clear, actionable installation instructions
- Communicate installation plans with BinSentry key stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Site Assessment
- Conduct customer site assessments, inspecting each bin and determining optimal sensor placement and orientation
- Gather bin dimensions, installation measurements, and any relevant site details (to be finalized)
- Document and maintain all required information in BinSentry’s Work Order system (when available).
- Prepare customer documentation package to be used to guide installation
- Training & Customer Engagement
- Lead initial training sessions (1-2 hours) for customer installation staff (e.g., millwright, electrician, etc.)
- Provide installation support, addressing questions and troubleshooting to ensure successful deployments.
- Capture Learnings
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to deliver field learnings, use-cases, questions, or change requests relative to the product and or installation element

- Support FeedSense Installations
- Perform FeedSense Installations as time permits when no HD installations are scheduled
- Does:
- Provide full installation guidance, planning, and site assessments
- Collect and document critical site and equipment information
- Participate in troubleshooting and offer best practices for product usage
- Does Not:
- Physically install or remove BinSentry products
- Cut, disassemble, or alter client equipment/resources
- Perform wiring installation or removal
- Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in project coordination, site assessments, or a related field with climbing experience (ag-tech or agricultural experience a plus)
- Strong communication and presentation skills for conducting onsite training sessions and Q&A.
- Proven ability to gather technical data accurately and translate it into actionable plans.
- Comfortable with frequent travel across the U.S. and Canada.
- Basic proficiency in using measurement tools (laser measure, tape measure), and electronic devices (smartphone, modem).
