Customer Service/Retail Associate (DME)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems and computer data entry

• Excellent communication skills

• Cheerful working attitude

• Outstanding customer service skills

• Durable Medical Equipment experience preferred

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 

• Answer incoming phone calls from customers 

• Welcoming and engaging customers as they enter the store 

• Assessing customer’s needs and assisting with product inquiries 

• Accurate and timely entry of new customer information into computer system

• Obtain all necessary information from new customers

• Generate orders and accurate billing, according to policies and procedures

• Entry of product into system and ensuring company profit margin guidelines are met

• Obtain written order from physician prior to order generation required by insurance and company policies 

• Daily processing of purchase order exception reports

• Insurance verification duties to confirm eligibility status

• 3225 Southview Dr. Unit 500, Elkhart, IN 46514
• Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
