What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Intern position at Binson's Hospital Supplies Inc.?
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study.
Office environment experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Maintain personnel files and conduct routine audits.
Manage benefit enrollments including new hire, employee eligibility changes, and open enrollment.
Performs administrative support on competency assessments and performance management.
Provide guidance and issue resolution for benefit eligibility and enrollment.
Assist with unemployment claims.
Assist with FMLA administration.
Assist with Workmen’s Compensation Claims.
Support reporting, HRIS, and payroll functions as needed.
Monitor HR email and mailbox.
Assist with recruiting efforts such as attending local career fairs and events.
Additional duties as assigned.
