Inside Sales/Office Coordinator

Inside Sales:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Obtain orders from customers for delivery on regularly scheduled deliveries.
  • Maintain customer relationships and market new products to existing customers.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
  • Maintain and expand the prospect database, keeping records up to date.
  • Coordinate with outside sales representatives or management to arrange personal visits to prospects if necessary.

Office:

  • Call existing customers to obtain orders.
  • Answer phones and provide assistance.
  • Ship products via UPS or other methods.
  • Assist in loading delivery trucks.
  • Initially, the role will involve a roughly 50/50 split between inside sales and office tasks. However, as more time is required for inside sales, office responsibilities may be reduced or eliminated. As a small family-owned business, teamwork and adaptability are essential, and you may be asked to assist with other tasks as needed.

Compensation:

Base: $17.00/hr, paid bi-weekly on Fridays for the previous two-week period. (est. base $35,360 yearly)

Commission: we offer an uncapped commission structure on all 'new account' clients. Commission is paid by the 15th of the following month.

Performance Bonus (when targets are met): at 6 months ($500) and at 12 months ($1000)

Position Requirements:

  • Clean background check.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
  • Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Experience working with CRM programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to continually learn and practice new sales techniques.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
