The Technical Writer in Product Support creates, maintains and provides technical documentation, manages the storage of the documentation and distributes the documentation to the Field Service organization. This role interacts with internal teams to define end user needs, develop new content, maintain compliance with regulations, and maintain currency across the Bio-Rad portfolio of products. The Technical Writer will make the complex easy to understand for our global field service organization, enabling the field to provide a better customer experience when service repair is required.
How You’ll Make An Impact :
- Service Manual development, refinement and distribution for commercial products.
- SharePoint site management, organization and currency control.
- Participate in New Product Development projects, developing service documentation for future products.
- Interact with internal stakeholders to ensure documentation meets end user needs while meeting quality and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with department personnel to develop and revise service documentation. Release service documentation on SAP.

Compensation : The estimated annual salary for this position is $59,100 to $101,000 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of an offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
