Pay Range : 22.00 - $30.25
The responsibilities of an Advanced Manufacturing Technician is to assist in the process of formulating buffers, diluents, and other components of Bio-techne’s best in class immunoassay products. Daily work may include recording data, operating equipment, product formulation and plate coating. Collaboration with other groups is also part of our work. Employees must have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team environment. Additionally, able to lift or move >
50 lbs. routinely.
Responsibilities
- Set up and formulate buffers, diluents and other products of low up to moderate complexity
- Complete data analysis of low to moderate complexity
- Make non-critical decisions based on data or results of work
- Demonstrates EPIC values in daily work
- Communicate effectively across groups and sites
- Laboratory maintenance : 1.) Actively participate in lab cleaning, 2.) Ensures proper function of equipment, 3.) Work with facilities or service providers.
- Knowledge of multiple processes or products
- Updates or improves SOP’s including revising, clarifying, and formatting
- Work independently with minimal supervision on moderately complex tasks
- Prioritizes own work to meet deadlines and complete multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
- Propose and Implement process improvements
- Ability to be analytical and predictive on processes based on experience
- Demonstrates good to strong technical knowledge
- Troubleshoots issues arising in daily work based on prior experience
- Required to research historic batch records of a product and suggest adjustments to the parameters of their work within SOP guidelines
- Consistently demonstrate meeting quality requirements in daily work
- Utilizes relevant internal databases effectively
- Executes weekly schedule with minimal direct supervision
- Received detailed instructions on new tasks
- Majority of time is spent working independently
- Collaborates on projects of low to moderate complexity
- Participates in training employees
