We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions and inhalation therapies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries regarding medications and health-related questions.
- Perform quality control checks on medications and supplies to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care initiatives in a hospital environment.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques during the preparation of sterile products.
- Participate in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceuticals.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred, especially within a hospital or critical care setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
- Knowledge of IV infusion techniques and medication administration protocols is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
