Maintenance Technician II

Shift: 3rd Shift (8 PM – 6 AM)
Salary: $27 - $37 per hour
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency. Must-Have Requirements
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate at your own expense.
- Ability to complete an online assessment before the interview.
- Must attend an onsite interview if the assessment is passed.
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical and electrical background.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
- Hands-on experience with drill presses, band saws, and portable power tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CMMS systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment.
- Ability to mentor and train junior technicians.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in industrial equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, conveyor systems, and motors.
- Replace faulty parts and components to maintain equipment in peak condition.
- Conduct alignment on mechanical drive systems.
- Install and troubleshoot electrical systems, ensuring proper operation and safety.
- Use testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to check circuits.
- Maintain proper documentation of repairs, maintenance activities, and process audits.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on proper maintenance procedures.
- Recommend and implement process improvements based on equipment performance.
