for a leading Manufacturing company in Mansfield, MA.

- Salary range: $95,000 – $100,000 Annually
Position Summary:
This position supports a leading innovator in sustainable food
packaging by overseeing overnight (7p–7a) thermoforming production
operations. The supervisor guides a team of hourly associates,
maintaining strict safety, quality, and compliance standards in a
fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment. Key responsibilities
include mentoring staff, optimizing workflows, troubleshooting issues,
and driving continuous improvement. Through clear communication,
swift problem-solving, and a focus on results, this role ensures a
positive night-shift culture and consistent delivery of high-quality
products.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED minimum; 5 years of operational
supervisory experience required
- Experience in food packaging, thermoforming, or a related
manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success leading teams of 40 hourly employees
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of motivating, directing,
and developing staff on a non-traditional (night) schedule
- Familiarity with regulatory, safety, and quality/compliance standards
in a food packaging setting
- Skilled in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and prioritizing tasks in
a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee nightly (7p–7a) production operations to meet quality,
efficiency, and output targets in a thermoforming environment
- Lead, mentor, and train hourly team members, ensuring adherence
to policies, SOPs, and GMPs
- Conduct performance evaluations, address issues promptly, and
maintain a positive, inclusive team environment
- Allocate labor, materials, and equipment based on production
schedules, adjusting to minimize downtime throughout the night shift
- Monitor product quality and compliance with regulatory standards
(SQF/ISO), taking corrective action if needed
- Enforce safety protocols and proper PPE usage (ear, eye protection,
hairnet, boots) in a loud, non-climate-controlled environment
- Maintain accurate records, communicate progress and challenges to
management, and ensure deadlines are met.
