It operates nine donor centers in South Texas, distributing blood, plasma, platelets, and other components to regional hospitals and emergency first responders. It also provides starting materials to therapeutic developers, and clinical research services. Its apheresis center received FACT accreditation in 2022 for peripheral blood cellular therapy product collection. NCPF Level : TB1Location : Boerne, TXDept. : Donor Services‐FS LaborBusiness Unit : STB&TGeneral SummaryResponsible for the medical screening, whole blood phlebotomy, and care of blood donors within our service area in accordance with the standard operating procedure (SOP) and BBG / STB&T policies. Support the blood needs of the community by converting donors to make the most impactful donation based upon current need and their eligibility / blood type.Commit to and abide by the character of BioBridge Global’s Core Values of Accountability, Stewardship, Pioneer, Integrity, Respect and Excellence (ASPIRE).Support, communicate and reinforce the mission and vision of the enterprise.Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (internal or external, including donors for select positions) through multiple feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential TasksReport to work as scheduled.Display a professional image and positive demeanor that contributes to the success of the organization.Deliver an outstanding donation experience by exceeding donor expectations.Maintain regulatory compliance by successfully completing training and competency assignments on time.Perform the quality control function (including documentation).Determine donor eligibility through comprehensive donor verification, medical history interview and medical screening procedures (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, Hgb / Hct via finger stick).Obtain donor consent prior to donation.
