Logistics Co-ordinator

As a Logistics co-ordinator you will deliver the highest quality service in the industry by performing and completing daily customer service and logistics operational tasks while complying with relevant industry regulations, customer requirements, and company targets for our top clients.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Provide industry leading customer service, via phone and online, to Biocair’s clientele in the pharmaceutical and life science industries
• Review customer shipping request, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information provided. Querying any missing/inaccurate information with the customer
• Working alongside the warehouse, provide correct temperature-controlled packaging selection recommendations to meet customer’s needs. Considering commodity size, temperature requirements and transit time.
• Preparation of all shipment documentation, for export, domestic, and import forwarding-on shipments, in compliance with any appropriate regulations.
• Logging any irregularities in the shipment process as a non-conformance report, escalating to the correct department when necessary.

• Experience of working within a multimodal logistics and/or freight forwarding role or pharmaceutical industry (ideally within a cold chain, time sensitive or pharmaceutical setting).
• Education or a background in science, pharmaceutical or health sciences is desirable but not essential.
