Responsibilities Will Include
- Ensure efficient and correct delegation and organization of associated tasks within the New York transport, packaging, and warehouse Teams.
- Control working hours of transport, packaging, and warehouse operations department by improving processes, achieving departmental deadlines, and hitting milestones
- Continuous improvement of transport, packaging, and warehouse standard operating procedures as identified and per the change control process.
- Supporting with root cause investigations for customer complaints relating to transport, packaging, and warehouse-related issues in line with the customer complaint SOP – meeting all required time deadlines and implementing the required, corrective action based on analysis of the issues associated with the complaint.
- Ensure that a full and accurate quality control checks are made on every shipment before dispatch.
- Control of the New York station transport, packaging, and warehouse staff holiday/vacation records, sick time, TOIL, and hourly timekeeping records. Reporting data to the Biocair HR staff on time to allow for payroll to be completed.
- To assist in the organizing or performing of all aspects of training and coaching of all staff within the New York transport, packaging, and warehouse teams.
- Act as liaison between senior management, logistics operational personnel, and transport/packaging/warehouse coordinators to ensure that both management and New York personnel understand and resolve company and departmental issues.

- The experience and ability to lead a team, comprised of staff conducting a variety of different roles, with fair, clear, and well-respected management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills – both in terms of managing client communication and the service provision to Biocair’s internal customers.
- A very high level of attention to detail that sets that standard for the team being managed.
- A high level of expertise in cold chain packaging and logistics
- A good knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Excellent resource planning and driver route management skills to ensure the workload is handled in the most efficient manner
- Between $85,000 - $100,000pa commensurate with experience
