The Transport Team manages both Biocair and third-party transport fleets as part of a seamless and efficient network that meets service requirements while optimising the movement of goods and maintaining a cost-effective approach. This involves regional control of both supplier and internal logistics operations, strategic oversight, and management of internal logistics to ensure the timely and effective provision of services that aligns with the strategic business needs.

The Transport Supervisor will mentor the Transport Team, set local strategic goals, and design effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall team efficiency.

Responsibilities will include:
- Act as the second escalation contact for shipment deviations and issue resolution
- Advise the Transport Team on complex operational challenges
- Hold regular one-on-one meetings with the Transport Team to provide support and coaching on team management and personal objectives
- Review driver vehicle inspection reports to monitor fleet status and schedule vehicle servicing and maintenance, prioritising preventative maintenance, and cost efficiency
- Schedule preventative maintenance for all vehicles in the fleet
- Monitor Transport expenditures (vehicle maintenance and subcontractor/integrator costs) to identify trends and assist the Station Manager with fleet optimization
- Act as local Product Owner for third-party/agent and driver manifest management functions of Biocair’s proprietary transportation management system, iCair, and other Biocair operational systems

- Between $75,000 - $82,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
