At Biodesix, Inc., we are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain management group, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase materials to meet current forecasts for each product.
- Monitor inventory levels to keep them as low as possible while meeting forecast and operational objectives.
- Analyze actual material usage compared to forecasted demand within the structure of vendor lead times.
- Maintain accurate and complete purchases, confirmation, tracking, and vendor records.
- Timely and accurate entry of purchasing and inventory-related transactions.
- Perform and document regular cycle counts of inventory.
Requirements:
- Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word, and industry-standard purchase order software platforms.
- Clear understanding of the production planning function.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus.
