Position Summary & Responsibilities :
Lead the team that is responsible for insuring compliance with IFRS15 / ASC606. Manages rebate and distributor margin calculations and reporting. Supports closing activities related to revenue recognition, accruals, and revenue reporting. Responsible for implementing and maintaining internal controls related to revenue cycle. Partners with other areas of finance and the business to ensure complete, accurate and timely recording of transactions.
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate application of revenue recognition.
- Manage rebate calculation and reporting.
- Manage Distributor Margin calculation and reporting.
- Manage the monthly close tasks associated with revenue; preparation of various account reconciliations, revenue journal entries and revenue related analysis.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of revenue and deferred revenue reporting.
- Design and implement internal controls related to revenue cycle.
- Audit the contracting process and provide timely feedback to the Contracting Team
- Assist with annual external and internal audit by providing source support and other explanations
- Assist with annual budget and forecasting activities as assigned.
- Directly supervise staff, which includes hiring, orienting, onboarding, training, managing priorities and objectives, and reviewing performance, including annual performance appraisals. Leverage data warehouse and BI tools to build sustainable and validated reporting and models.
- Convert data to understandable and explainable format including slide preparation for the business.
- Support Clinical Commercial Operations leadership, Accounting, and Regional / Corporate FP&A teams.
- Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
- Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMérieux / BioFire Diagnostics’ Quality System.
