Associate Director, IT Management Operations

About This Role

The Associate Director (AD), IT Management & Operations (ITMO) will work directly with IT Leadership and their teams and be responsible for the domains of IT Financial & Business Performance Management, well as Platform Based Management. This role will collaborate with portfolio managers in functional IT teams to drive the various financial management processes under their direction. In some cases, the AD, ITMO will provide all content, in-depth analysis, and delivery support. In other cases, will take on a more supporting and governing role while the actual work is performed by the designated members of the IT Functions. This role will collaborate closely with other work management groups within Biogen particularly Procurement and Finance.

• IT Business Performance Management
  • Measure, analyze and report key metrics

  • Measure, analyze and report IT performance
• Platform Based Management
  • Integrate with IT Performance Management
  • Create visibility to all categories of spend
  • Increase utilization of existing tool sets

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or another relevant field
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Financial planning in an IT environment
• Hyperion experience
• Experience with Platform-based management a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Self-motivated, ability to operate independently to deliver on assignments
• Ability to interact independently with employees at all levels of the organization
