Biogensys is currently hiring a Senior Data Science Engineer for one of their clients in Chicago-IL for a contract position. Prefer Life Science or Pharma experience.
Description:
- Skilled Data Science Engineer with expertise in building Generative AI applications and a strong foundation in data science concepts.
- Hands-on experience in Python must have, proficient in machine learning frameworks
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy Generative AI applications using cutting-edge models.
- Apply data science principles to analyze, process, and model complex datasets.
- Write efficient, scalable, and well-documented Python code.
- Work with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver AI-driven solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in AI, ML, and Generative AI technologies.
- Strong understanding of data science fundamentals (statistics, machine learning, deep learning).
- Proficiency in Python and experience with relevant AI/ML libraries.
- Experience in developing and fine-tuning Generative AI models (LLMs, GANs, VAEs).
Familiarity with AWS for model deployment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
