The Healthcare Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately inputting patient results into custom reports. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical scribing, insurance billing, or another healthcare documentation field, ensuring a strong understanding of medical terminology and data accuracy. This is a remote role with the option to work in one of our office locations in the SF Bay Area or NY. We are looking for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented and structured work environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Accurately enter patient test results and other relevant data into customized reports.
- Ensure all data is inputted in accordance with company formatting and compliance standards.
- Cross-check data for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to clarify any discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with data verification, quality control, and report finalization as needed.
- Be a key contributor to the culture of innovation, constantly exploring ways to push the boundaries of healthcare.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
- 1 years in medical data entry, scribing, insurance billing, or a similar role requiring attention to detail and medical terminology
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), proficiency in GSuite, and data entry platforms
- Familiarity with lab results, clinical documentation, and healthcare compliance is preferred
- Ability to accurately enter large volumes of data with 100% accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal teams
- Ability to work remotely with strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable in the dynamic, fast-paced environment of a healthcare technology startup
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and handling sensitive medical information
